Christian's mum, a witch, met his father, a vampire, when she'd been seventeen. She hadn't thought she'd be able to get pregnant but she did at nineteen. 9 months later she gave birth to Christian Alexander, her first and only child as she'd died during child birth. Christian grew up with his aunt Arabella, who was also a witch. He attended school in Bulgaria along with his cousins but was expelled when he accidentally drained a fellow student of their blood. Well, it wasn't so much an accident, Christian had been getting hot and heavy with a girl in a year above his and things had gotten out of hand. It was the first and only time Christian has ever fed off of a human. That doesn't mean he doesn't drink human blood, because he does, just out of a bag. He thinks that animal blood is for pussies. He finished off his education at Hogwarts and then travelled the world for two years. His mother had left him a rather large family fortune which he used to fund his partying. For a long time he thought he was indescructible but it wasn't until he met his father that he learned he wasn't immortal, he just aged much slower than most humans and so had a longer life span. It was then he decided he'd stop wasting his time getting drunk every night and do something worthwhile. Which is where he'd turned to teaching as a professor at Hogwarts. |
