Tyler made his way into the courtyard from the school, he looked around seeing the empty courtyard and sat himself on the edge of the water fountain looking down to water. He threw is bag down to the ground and sat up with both his legs on the wall. He shivered slightly as a cold breeze was in the air, it was obvious summer was coming to an end. He looked at the his reflection in the water and looked back up. It was three years today that his Mother passed away from cancer and it felt to him like it was only yesterday, the feelings were still raw and he was not over it. Surely it was something you could never get over it, he's tried to carry on, he had to be strong for his brother and sister and his Father needed him too. Nobody had mentioned anything today about it he wasn't sure weather it was because they didn't want to upset him or maybe they just forgot. Its not something that comes up in conversation often and Tyler never spoke about it.
Tyler had never dealt with his Moms death, it was something he wouldn't wish on anyone. The feeling were still there, the thought of his Mom not being able to see him graduate or hold her grandchildren. A small tear started to fall down his cheek as he thought about it. He still wrote letters to his Mom, yeah she wouldn't get them but it was his way of dealing with his feelings and it was some way of being able to communicate with her. He remembered first coming back to school after his Moms funeral, everyone was so nice and passing on there condolences, it was hard, every time someone mentioned it, it just brought back that feeling , the one at the pit of his stomach as if someone had ripped out his heart. Tyler had never been the same since, he wanted to be his "old" self but he just couldn't find himself. He sat with his back to the school building and let his legs dangle over the wall. He had skipped Potions class, he just couldn't face it, he hoped nobody noticed or the Professor didn't point out to people that he wasn't there Tag:: Leon/Mimi <3 Notes: Bro Time <3

leo was surprised to say the very least when he found tyler missing from potions that day. after all that was a class that they both somewhat enjoyed together because they would be partners for any class assignment, unless the teacher demanded otherwise. so there he was, searching the corridors and the grounds for his friend. he knew something had to be wrong, and he did have an idea why. though he didn't know the exact timing of the loss of tyler's mother, he knew that it happened some time near the start up of school. the mere fact that it was around that time would upset someone that went through that loss, let alone if it was actually the day of his loss. as much as he didn't like admitting it, tyler did have a special place within his heart. no, it wasn't romantic. but their relationship was deeper, simply because they could understand each other. they didn't judge one another for flirting or for being reckless. they were just about the same person, right down to the loss of their mothers, even though tyler's happened much, much later on. while winter held a very dear place in leo as well, tyler and leo just could relate, and so he knew it was his job to help out the poor boy.
it was at this moment that he walked outside and saw his friend, and from his body language, he knew that what he had feared was right. it was about the poor chap's mom. quietly, leon made his way to his friend's side, and sat next to him, looking down at the floor, and their dangling feet. "so... you weren't in potions today. you need a hug from mama leo? a nuzzle? you look like you need it." he nudged the other and sighed, opening his arms. he was usually the one who was borderline homosexual with his friends, cuddling and kissing them when he was bored. frankly, he found it comforting to hug them and show affection. to not have his own mother was harder now, but having his step-mother helped a tad. he was trilled with the marriage at first, but it was hard to deal with calling a new person mom, and even more, having a new baby sister whom you thought was just a friend at first.

Tyler sat on the wall watching his feet until he heard footsteps coming behind him. He chose not to turn around and sat waiting to see if it was somebody walking past or maybe his professor coming to get him. He jumped slightly as someone sat next to him he looked at the person, it was his best friend Leon. Tyler loved Leon to bits, like if he was that way inclined he would totally be with Leon. They have a connection and understand each other. Tyler and Leon would spend him just being lads together and taking the piss out eachother. Leon loved the other lads but he had a soft spot for Leon.
Tyler looked at his friend and gave him a weak smile as a few tears rolled down his cheek. He didn't know what to say, he wasn't sure if Leon knew, one thing he did know , if Leon knew then he would know exactly how Tyler i feeling. Tyler knew Leon lost his own Mum and that something else which made them so close. Tyler simply dropped into Leons arms and sobbed slightly as he sat back up he looked at him and wiped his tears with his sleeve. " Sorry i couldn't deal with Potions, did i miss much?" he said trying not to let anything out in-case Leon didn't know. He watched there feet dangle and looked up to him. A few more tears rolled down his cheek, he tried to wipe them away as quick as he could. " Three years today mate, three years and it still feels like it was yesterday, is it ever going to get any better?" he said as he leaned his head on his friends shoulder he took a deep breath. " Do you still think about you're mum?" he said looking at the water. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve again and laughed a little, If the girls could see me now by the way! he said with a weak smile. TAG:Leon/Mimi Notes: Bro Time!

It took Leon all that he had within him to keep his cool once Tyler had crumpled within his arms and had started to emit sobs at the same time. He was completely used to comforting friends, but with a topic that was so common between the two of them, it was impossible not to feel a little bit of, well, pain himself. Once his best friend was somewhat under control, Leo wiped the tears from his face and smiled, just knowing he had to be strong for the both of them and then deal with the actual pain internally, and let Tyler let his out. "Well, you see, a troll burst into the dungeon, I saved everyone, had amazing sex with the hottest older woman I've ever seen-" He shook his head, "You just missed the usual, mate. Boring lecture, stuff we'll never need to know for the rest of our lives, and then bam. No homework or anything. At least that's what I got from it. But there probably was an assignment so check with someone."
At his second set of tears, Leon yet again brushed them away with his thumb and sighed, and sighed a last time at the mentioning of his own mother. "It does get better... The hurt never goes away completely... But it gets much much better and you can move on eventually. The important part is to just keep them in your memory. Of course I remember my mother. Well, as best I can for someone that only knew her for four years." He smiled and just hugged his friend, relaxing in the comfort of a set of arms. Yup, if he had a husband, it would probably be Tyler or Winter. If he had to pick one, they'd be pitted against one another in a duel to the death, or they could just all have a polygamous relationship where their one purpose was to please Leon. "If girls saw us now they would probably think we were completely and utterly flaming for one another."
