albus had his life basically set. he had his best friend, lux and had his brother and sister. though he didn't see them as much as he would have if he'd been placed in gryffindor he couldn't exactly complain. albus was happy with the life he had formed around and in slytherin. he had friends, ex girlfriends and for some hopefully future girlfriends. however that was how it was for most houses. albus was what most people would call a house jumper and if it wasn't for his slytherin tie some first years would have no idea which house he belonged to. albus ate at every table, he knew the passwords to every common room and more often than not answered the ravenclaw question correctly. he was one of the few students in the school to have been in every single common room and not for sexual reasons.
currently though, sex and girls, were the fartherest thing from his mind. quidditch, it was all about quidditch. he'd recently sent the team to relax and had stayed behind to finish a few laps and practice on his own. though it wasn't usually his ideal way to practice but it would do for now. however albus knew that once season started he would push his team towards the max, he wanted them to be best and he expected them to be best. after about half an hour of practice on his own he head into the boys locker room to shower and change. he went directly into the shower getting all the grossness out of his body. he stepped out of the shower areas, towel wrapped around his lower half. he hadn't been expecting anyone to be there which cause him to nearly fall when he saw lux. "lux! what the bloody hell?" he wasn't actually mad at her, nor did he want her to leave. they were friends after all, she'd just caught him by surprise. tag: lux/annie <33 words: 324! notes: get excited!!

lux was happy at hogwarts. she liked being there more than she did at home, and it was not just because she got to practice on a daily basis. it was more so the fact that she got more attention at hogwarts than she ever dreamed of back home. lux thrived on the attention she got from everyone at hogwarts. it was what she loved. she had friends that complimented her because she surrounded herself with those time of girls that would do whatever she said, whenever she said it. lux was always looking for the next person to pay attention to her, the next person to see her master the latest spell that everyone was struggling with. lux needed the attention like it was a drug, but not many people seemed to notice that much. most of the people were focused on what lux happened to be showing off. a lot of the time it happened to be her skills in bed or her talent at kissing.
lux found that there were hardly any boys at hogwarts that would deny her advances, and the ones that did were usually gay. she was part veela, not many people could resist that. except albus potter. alby was lux's best friend and had been since their first year, but lux was over their friendship. she wanted to just sleep with him already, but he always denied any advances. this was her year, though. lux was going to get albus to sleep with her this year. lux was going to charm her way into his pants no matter how hard it was. lux knew where albus would be. the quidditch pitch. he was always there when he wasn't with her. albus was always practicing even if the season hadn't even started. lux made her way to where she thought her best friend may have been, but there was no such luck. so she decided to go to the next best guess: the locker room. she walked in, knowing there would be no one to stop her. lux looked around for a moment and smirked when she heard one of the showers turn off. lux giggled at albus's surprise. "hey, alby," she smiled as if this was the first time she'd seen him since last year. tag: albus/aless ((: words: 386! notes: i rambled, i'm sorry. ):

to be honest his friendship with lux was anything but normal. albus coudln't deny that he wasn't attracted to her, after all lux was beautiful. albus wouldn't dare deny that but they'd always been friends. and albus wouldn't dare to move from the friend zone. he likes the friend zone it was comforting, plus he didn't get hurt by it. with lux he was there for her when she needed him and wasn't when she didn't. they were each other's best friend and always had been, they'd met on the train ride to hogwarts their first year. and lux was the main reason albus hadn't been basically beaten to death by the older slytherins. life for young first year albus had been confusing, as he'd get kicked out of the slytherin common room just because he was a potter. but lux helped him make a name for himself and he could never fully repay her for that.
albus had made a name for himself, the only time without lux's help when he made the quidditch team his sixth year. it'd been a shock to most, including albus simply because the captain had hated him. but albus had talent, so it went that from his second to fourth year he'd play a chaser on the team. it wasn't until his fifth year that he tried for the keeper position and got it. and when he got that letter in the mail, when the headmaster had told him he was to be captain well albus was a little bit more than just pleased. it was the reason he was working extra hard this year to be the best. he had to be best. however the way lux was just been in the locker room with no care in the world had thrown albus completely off guard. he grabbed the nearest locker to him to not fall. the other hand went to the towel holding it in place. albus shook his head trying to see if she was really there. "hey lux... wanna tell me why you're in the boys locker room?" or in the qidditch pitch off season. albus knew lux wasn't the biggest sport girl, but she was his biggest fan. he walked over to his locker as he spoke, located next to where lux was standing and opened it looking for clothes. tag: lux/annie <33 words: 392! notes: psh it's okay i did too

lux knew how odd her friendship with albus was. they were complete opposites, but he was her first friend at hogwarts. they met on the train and just clicked. lux liked having albus always at her side when she needed it. he was always the first to defend her whenever she needed it. lux liked it that way. she liked having someone always there that she could trust that wouldn't judge her. lux knew albus would always be that way for her. she had very clear memories of their first year. it was hard for most of the first year slytherins to be accepted, but lux made sure she was. she never let anyone else intimidate her, but albus did. the older slytherins seemed to think it was okay to mess with him. lux made sure that they realized it wasn't. lux and albus were pretty much stuck together after that. everyone knew who they were simply because lux wouldn't take bullshit because he was a potter.
lux never could understand how albus just brushed off all over her flirting and advances on him. no one else seemed to be able to resist lux's charm. it was always increasingly frustrating to the small slytehrin that the one guy she could not get into bed was the first guy that would be there if she needed help. why was it such a big task? it wasn't like he was a virgin, and she obviously wasn't either. all lux wanted was sex. was that so bad? she wasn't asking for a relationship or even a fling. she bit her lip and smirked as her eyes scanned albus's bare chest. lux giggled once and ran a hand through her raven hair. "i got bored and figured you'd fancy a visit!" she lied simply. she wrinkled her nose and shook her head. "it smells bloody horrid in here," lux sighed and looked around. it was nothing she had never seen before. lux had been in the boys locker room with other boys while it was empty. granted, they were more than willing to remove their towels while albus seemed to have been clinging to his for dear life. why didn't he want her? lux sighed and watched him look through his locker that was next to her. the brunette pursed her lips. she walked over to stand behind albus. lux got to her tippy toes and rested her chin on his damp shoulder, looking into his locker curiously.

albus could never for the life of him want to or could explain his relationship with his best friend. there was no reason to. in the end his best friend was his best friend and that was it. she was the one who was there for him and he was there for her. albus had been there through heart breaks, though there hadn't been many and lux had been there when albus had every single one of girlfriends, though there weren't many of those either. albus was picky with his girlfriends. he didn't try to be but he was. he always had been. he had a mental image of his perfect girl, and though she looked more like lux every time he pictured her. he always tried to forget about it but it was quite hard and not to mention the fact that the way lux acted wasn't how albus wanted his perfect girl to be. then again his perfect girl could never be perfect, perfection didn't exist. unless it was mary sue but she had gary stu.
being completely naked in front of lux only made albus slightly uncomfortable. he didn't want to expose himself to her and make their relationship uncomfortable. of course if it did happen it happen and they would have to get over it, there was no other way other around it. albus and lux always got around the awkward things, they made sure they did, they valued their friendship too much to not do anything about it. it was one of the reasons albus ignored all signs that lux seemed to throw herself at him. he didn't listen, he didn't pay attention, he just didn't want to know. lux was his friend and nothing more. albus laughed a bit at her words. "oh i always fancy a visit from you," he winked at her clearly messing with her. he liked to joke around with her like that, he did love a visit from her though. he couldn't help the laugher that escaped him at her next words. "yeah that tends to happen in the locker rooms," he shook his head softly. as he perked her head on his shoulder though he turned his head and kissed her cheek softly. he then grabbed a pair of boxers and slipped it on under his towel then removed his towel once the boxers were on. he turned to lux. "have you eaten dinner yet, love?" he asked as dried his legs and grabbed his pants. tag: lux/annie <33 words: no idea sorry! notes: sorry this took so long!

lux knew that albus was just her best friend. she had no problems with that. she liked having him as her best friend. he was their for everything. albus even stuck around for the rare heartbreak lux got whenever she developed a slight crush on a boy who only wanted her for what she was known for. lux had been there for every single breakup for albus, but she couldn't ever shake the feeling that she was a possible reason for each and every breakup. lux didn't really care though. she was pretty satisfied each and every time one of albus's relationships ended because she knew none of the girls were really good enough for him. lux knew she was better than each and every one of his ex girlfriends and she didn't even have to try. lux knew what the girls said about her and she knew that at least one of his girlfriends had personally asked him to stop hanging around with lux, but she knew albus wouldn't. no one could replace lux because, honestly, no one could replace albus. he was her alby.
lux smiled over at albus as they both looked into his locker. she loved having alone time with the popular potter because it seemed to be hard to come by lately. albus always seemed busy with things that were more important than she was, and lux hated that. she hated the idea of something that wasn't her being more important to him than she was. albus was important to lux. she always made time for him because she had to. lux needed him in her life, but she only liked to acknowledge the needing in a best friend sense. all lux wanted from albus was sex and friendship. obviously, she was attracted to him and loved him for him, but she didn't want to think about it. albus was her best friend and that was all. lux refused to be a walking cliche and get feelings for her best friend. hell, she didn't want to get feelings for anyone. they always ruined everything. "good because i think i'll be 'round often." lux giggled lightly. it was always fun just to be lux with albus. it was easy because he never paid attention to what she did when he wasn't around unless she was in trouble. "i don't like it!" lux declared, moving from his shoulder after he kissed her cheek. she stepped back and watched as he dressed himself. lux placed her hands on her hips and bit her lip, concentrating on him. she was snapped from her thoughts to look at him with a bright smile. "nope. care to take me?"

albus knew of lux's... adventures. he wasn't exactly naive about it but he preferred not to think about it. every time he thought about all the boys that lux was with, that used her for her body and that she used for sexual pleasure well it made albus angry. just plain angry. he didn't deal well with the boys who came up to him laughing and yelling 'do you know how awesome your girl was last night?" that was another thing that bothered albus. were people actually so mentally deformed that he would actually let lux sleep around if she was his girl? hell albus would have her locked up in the bed room just for his own use... he shook those thoughts away as they trailed off to dirty places. places that he shouldn't have been thinking about his best friend.
having lux on his shoulder was anything but weird. it actually felt quite natural for the boy, it felt perfect. he wouldn't voice his though it'd give lux too big of a head. he laughed slightly at her words. "as if i didn't know that," he spoke in reference to her being around often. he loved having lux around there was never one moment that he specifically want her around. even awkward situations like this one, which should have been awkward, wasn't it felt like a normal day. albus laughed once more at lux's words, his laughter filling the locker room quite fast. "i highly doubt the girls locker room smells like roses and kittens," he spoke sarcasm dripping from his voice. albus grabbed his jean pants and slid them on as he spoke then grabbed a t shirt and slip it over his damp head. he ruffled his hands through it to try and dry his head a little faster. he smiled at lux as he finished up by putting his things away and tying his shoes. "i'd be honored my lady," he joked bowing before her as though she were the queen of england. after he straightened up he extend his arm to her and smiled at her. albus truly loved lux, with every fiber in his being, he wouldn't replace her for anything. tag: lux/annie <33 words: -shrug- notes: <33333

okay, yeah, lux slept around. she liked it. lux liked sex. she never thought it was that big of a deal. hell, half of the reason she did it was to piss off her brother and to get albus's attention. lux wasn't just doing it for attention. no, she liked the pleasure that came along with sex, but those two things were bonus. it was entertaining each time some guy went up to albus and explained what they had done with her the night before. lux liked the look on his face every single time a different boy told him how good she was in bed. it was wrong and she knew it, but lux couldn't help it. lux couldn't help but just love the way albus seemed to get pissed off whenever lux explained the boys she had sex with.
lux smiled, sitting on a nearby bench. she sighed and looked at albus. "you like having me around?" lux asked, curiously. she was never insecure about her relationship with albus, really. lux always knew that he loved her, but she just was never sure if he was going to get tired of her or her attention seeking ways. she was positive that one day albus was going to get tired of giving her all of his attention when they were together. lux hated that. she hated the thought of possibly losing albus potter. he was her favorite person. there was no contest. he was her absolute favorite person. she looked up at albus and giggled. "it smells better than this one. this place smells like rubbish!" lux shook her head and crossed her legs slowly as she watched albus pick out a shirt. "no, no, no!" lux pouted. "accio grey shirt," she said and watched as the shirt from albus's locker came to her. lux smirked and jumped up from the bench. "here. this shirt looks better on you," the brunette smiled and handed the shirt to her best friend. lux giggled as albus bowed in front of her. she curtseyed regardless of the fact that she was in jeans. "then let us eat, my liege." lux ran a hand through her long hair and took albus's arm.

albus would never precisely say he disliked his life at home. he had gotten a bit of middle child syndrome growing up but that had disappeared when he turned eleven. getting his letter was a huge deal at the potter house. he got harassed by his brother for being a slytherin before he was even a slytherin. eventually though when albus was sorted into slytherin his father was no angry, nor upset. he was proud. and that was the greatest thing his father had ever done for him. albus knew of the great man he was named after, severus snape. he'd been in the slytherin house and according to his father had been the bravest man he ever knew, now kindness was a different story. as though it would seem albus had taken it upon himself to be kind to every one he met and stay kind. it was one of the main reason he saw past lux's adventures. it didn't exactly help his quite short temper when it came to talking about them.
albus couldn't exactly help the way he acted when he was with lux. he'd known her for such a long time that albus was truly himself. that funny, stupidly charming, wise crack, joke making boy that he was growing up to be. the best part? lux seemed to love every bit of it. it was the only reason they hadn't grown out of each other. while other friends grew apart albus and lux only grew stronger. and eventually when lux's phase, as albus called it, passed. he'd be there for when she'd get a real boyfriend, fiancee. even marriage. though that thought angered the calm albus for reason he had no clue existed. he nodded however agreeing with lux. "yes, well men are filthy," he threw himself under that category. albus was rarely pristine clean, as the girl would call it, but he never cared. he wasn't impressing anyone yet. his attention turned lux as she yelled out disapprovingly. he looked down at the shit in his hands, then at the shirt lux had summoned. albus rolled his eyes slightly but took the shirt placing the other one in his locker. "one day i'll have to use that shirt," he slid it over his head then pointed towards his locker at the shirt he'd just thrown in. as they exited the locker room, albus picked up lux's hand and kissed it. a nice gesture that he didn't do often but with the queen and liege thing, it seemed suited. "my lady, is there something you fancy for supper on this evening?" tag: lux/annie <33 words: 435! notes: they are perfection.

lux was never really sure about love. she never really saw it or felt it. yeah, lux knew her dads loved her and she knew people at hogwarts loved her, but lux was never sure if she loved them back. the only person lux was ever sure she loved was albus potter. she was happy about that. he was her best friend. albus was basically everything to lux. she was positive she loved the male that she had grown to love so much more over her years at hogwarts. she was never really sure what kind of love it was. lux never really over analyzed it though. she mostly just left the fact that she loved albus at that. lux never wanted to think about it because the thought of love honestly scared the young slytherin. the thought of giving someone else your heart and the power to break it? yeah, that did not sound like fun to lux at all. she never wanted to have the feeling of heartbreak. therefore, lux kept her heart to herself and gave it to no one else.
lux hated the way albus looked at the things she did with other boys. he acted as if it would all blow over, when lux knew she would always be like this. lux never thought she'd actually find a wizard to settle down with. she was always going for the boys who just wanted her for her body, but she could never help it. they always made it sound like they actually liked her, but most of them were in winter's grade. lux always wanted what she could never have and that was why she liked being with so many boys. she wanted to be with them all. lux wanted to see if any of them were being truthful. she wanted to see if any of them would save her in the end even if she didn't need saving. granted, the only one who ever seemed to save her was albus and lux was always grateful for that. she always loved it when he was so willing to protect her without reason. it was nice to have someone like that who wasn't her brother. "as if i don't know. forgetting i'm the only girl carters, eh, potter?" lux teased with a smile and a quick hand through his dark, damp hair. she smiled approvingly and clapped once when albus replaced his shirt. "not if i can stop it," lux winked at the taller boy once. she giggled once and hoped that a blush wouldn't come once albus picked her hand up and kissed it. "something fit for a queen." lux curtly nodded once, putting her arm around albus's waist.

if there was something that albus was sure about was love. he knew he would find that right girl, fall in love with her, marry her, and she'd have his children. in that order too. albus had always dreamed of a family like his. with two loving parents who never had eyes for anyone else but them and then children who looked up to them. albus could honestly say the only thing he resented his father for was naming him albus severus, but he grew out of it. specially when girls would whisper his name in bed, well it was hot. he wouldn't say otherwise. it might had been just because they were saying his name but albus didn't exactly care. he still remembered thanking his father for naming him and his father giving him the weirdest look albus had ever received. growing up with the potters had pushed him to want a semi big family. at least three kids, his max would always be five. if he thought about it, albus could see that family with lux. but then shook those thoughts out, after all she'd be his best woman, not his bride.
to let him sleep through the night albus told himself that lux would eventually grow up. she had to. she was acting childish sleeping with so many guys at one time. that was simply how albus saw it. and how albus had to see it to get himself through the day. he wouldn't be able to do much if he thought lux could be sleeping with anyone in those few seconds she wasn't with him. it made him angry, the way she threw herself. lux was a beautiful woman, more beautiful than any girl albus had been with, and for her to just throw her body around like that. well albus just couldn't stand it. albus smiled at her. "apart from your mother of course," noted albus smiling. he knew lux came from a family just like his. two boys and a younger sister. he only prayed to merlin that lily wasn't at all like lux was with boys. albus simply smiled at lux as she spoke. "what are you gonna do? light my shirt on fire?" as soon as he said it albus regretted. knowing lux there was nothing she wouldn't do to get him away from wearing that shirt. as they walked towards the castle, albus nodded at her words slightly. "fit for a queen. well we'll just have to see what the elves has cook in your honor," he smiled at her as he spoke. tag: lux/annie <33 words: don't know! notes: <3

the future was something that honestly scared lux. she never knew what her life was going to turn out to be once she left hogwarts. she had no idea who she was or what she wanted to be and she was already in her sixth year. everyone around her always seemed so sure of what they wanted in life while she was always lost. lux was lost about who she would even talk to once she was done with school. there was no one consistent in her life except for albus. lux wasn't even sure about that relationship anymore. what happened when he found the girl of his dreams? lux knew she would be left in the dust. that was probably the reason she was hanging onto him so tightly. lux honestly did not want to lose him. it scared her everything about what happened after school scared her because he wasn't going to be constantly around. albus wasn't going to be there to protect her. she was going to be on her own. lux knew she had to stop thinking about it. albus would always be with her until he got tired of her.
keeping secrets had been apart of lux's life at hogwarts since day one. it was just easier for all three of the carters children to lie about their family. none of them really wanted to advertise the fact that they were adopted and had two gay fathers. lux never felt bad about the lying about her family. it was easy because all three of the kids did it. she just never thought anyone really deserved to know the truth. the only person lux ever felt bad about personally lying to was albus. sure, she felt bad that even winter's baby's mother didn't know about their dads, but lux never lied to her. she did, however, lie to albus. it was just easier to let him think that they both had the perfect little wizarding families instead of telling him all about her actual family. lux bit her bottom lip tenderly and tried to keep her cool once she realized what she had said. "of course! me mum is a girl, too." lux looked away for a moment. the biggest thing she was scared about was him judging her.lux locked those thoughts away. he was never going to find out. her thoughts were wrapped in fire now. "interesting theory, alby," she winked at the boy. honestly, lux hated the other shirt. she had no problem setting it on fire and possibly blaming her brother. "apparently so. it better be the best," lux giggled, running a hand through her hair. it was nice to just walk with albus.
