The Ancient Runes professor needed to have some time with his family. His classes were over, and he had finished whatever work that he needed to do at Hogwarts. He had soon found himself going to his home in the outskirts of Hogsmeade, and attempting to relax. Briar had greeted him as did his young children. Gabriel took this time to help clean his home with Briar. There was much to clean as there were young children living there, however, the furnishings that he had gotten to fill the home with were free of dust and debris. On the other hand there were toys strewn about almost every inch of the living room. He took a few moments to rest upon the couch.
When Grace and Max climbed into his lap he smiled. He missed his kids and his wife while he was at the school. Even though he was very exhausted from the stress of work, which was odd since Gabriel normally loved his job. That stress could have been credited to the hustle and bustle at Hogwarts. Max and Grace both lifted Gabriel's spirits when he was able to spend time with them. He'd played with them for a couple hours before it was their bedtime. After he'd read both his children a bedtime story he tucked them into bed. Briar had needed some rest since she'd been home with the kids. Despite that, Gabriel contemplated on a trip into town for some butterbeer, and perhaps just a walk. Since both Grace and Max had been put to bed he figured that's exactly what he'd do.
Gabriel went into town for some solo time. As much as he missed his family while he was at work he also enjoyed some time alone with his thoughts. Gabriel was still in the clothes he wore at Hogwarts that day, which just happened to consist of an all black ensemble with the exception of a red silk tie. He had been flustered and worried, mostly because of the things going on at the castle. He ambled into the Three Broomsticks pub hoping that perhaps he could clear his head. He brought his glass of fire whiskey to an empty table and just observed some of the people there. The Three Broomsticks was usually full of students during certain weekends but tonight there was mostly adults, and the odd staff member from the castle. The one faculty member that seen him gave Gabriel a curt nod before returning to their own party. Though Gabriel was quite content with just being there by himself.
