He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing

Today Gabriel was attempting to escape the bothers of the castle. He wasn't really going to go to his home in Hogsmeade as there wasn't enough time. Gabriel was on patrol duty tonight. He had finished his preparations for the next lessons and he was free to spend as much of his time as he could doing what he felt like doing. The hiked security, but the possibility that someone would actually attempt to attack children was not a thought Gabriel liked, but it was a truth that he knew would come to pass at some point. This was only the tip of the iceberg of things that had plagued the man's mind. It was odd how he always had a lot going through his mind. Gabriel took this time to head out to the Forbidden Forest. Once he was in the shadows of the dark forest he transformed into his ever elegant equine visage. He figured that he could have a bit of fun patrolling the forest in this form. After all, what student would expect a teacher to be patrolling the forest, almost entirely invisible, let alone a teacher who was also an animagus.

So, in this equine form he just trotted effortlessly through the forest with his head held high. This was likely not something he should be doing if he was to fool an observer into thinking that he was indeed an animal and not an animagus. His ears swiveled from side to side as he trotted through the forest. Gabriel had made his way to a clearing in the forest. Once he was there his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a snapping twig. Gabriel's head shot up on full alert. He was hoping that it was a familiar face that had decided to take a stroll through the forest. Gabriel decided to go investigate, not really knowing who it was that he had just heard in the forest. He really needed to stop walking around in the forest whilst transformed. This could actually end badly someday. Though if it happened to be a student Gabriel felt that docked house points and a detention had to be in order, though that sort of depended on the reason that the student gave for being in the forest.

Arlequin slowly left the castle. She had been unable to fall asleep and she was feeling kind of down. She had been bullied by some particularly mean kids after class and no matter how hard she tried to ignore them, their words still hurt. She tucked her book under her arm and pulled out her wand when she entered the forest. She knew it was against the rules to be here but she felt comfortable, she even had her own special place. She just always had to be careful not to run into any creatures or..well, teachers. She knew she could get her house in trouble.

Her eyes widened when she stepped on a twig, entering the clearing. She quickly glanced around and then spotted it, a horse. She paused, staring, unsure of what she was supposed to do. "Hi, pretty boy" she whispered softly, creeping forward, lowering her wand a tiny bit. There was something familiar looking about it. She frowned before stepping back. "I'll be leaving now" She took another step back, conveniently dropping her book and it flopped open. She hastily picked it back up and looked up to see if the horse had moved at all.
